You should have gotten it for PC then, just saying. Modding has been huge in TES for years. I never even knew that there was an XBOX or PS3 version until I was a few weeks into the game.

I love having the game on the PC, I fix all the bugs in the game with the console commands. I like things to be just perfect (hence why I have an Android phone ;)) and with the overlapping furniture bug in the houses it just bugs me to death... so I fix it :)

I have the house in Windhelm and I have it all perfect and organized. I'm a nerd :D

I don't use any mods or cheat wit the console commands... only if I have to fix a bug. I want to play the game right :P
ok ok ok I'll admit it... when I accidentally fall off a cliff I do activate the god mode so that I don't die... don't steal my sweet roll please!

i've been on the road for over a month and i'm just now getting things taken care of around the house. I'm definitely ready to get some playing time in ASAP. I'll have to re learn the mechanics lol

I haven't played this game in forever... just suddenly stopped after I reached level 50. Many people from school also claim they stopped playing too.

Idk why, I guess it just suddenly became boring.

I speed playing after the creation kit was released, started picking out mods, never stopped, then never got around to installing them. Been busy since with spending more time with my daughter

Yeah, I stopped playing it for a while when I got busy and I've never felt the need to go back and play. I found that with Oblivion and Fallout 3 as well though - I'll play in bursts with big gaps in between.

quiet in here :)

You'd better have opened up your copy by now NA!

The thing about Skyrim is that each level gained is not satisfying at all. I used to play World of Warcraft and in that game when you gained a level you get a sea of new quests, armor, etc. available for you at that new level. So for example, if you want this piece of armor, you would have to earn it by reaching level xx. While in Skyrim, everything you can have even at level 1. I created my daedric (sp?) armor set around level 35 lol.

In short, there's nothing in Skyrim that would persuade me to keep going.

....smh..i finally tried to play a bit ago....dang controller dead. The misses has been using it to watch dvd's and forgot to plug it in to charge every now and then.....its charging now.

um...err.... its like this :o

Well, at least you still have your copy NA. I sold mine when I switched platforms (hadn't played it in months ... )

So, when the next price drop happens, I'm sure I'll find myself lost again in the world of Skyrim.

Been thinking of giving this a second playthrough. I enjoyed my assassin character. The dark brotherhood quest was quite fun.

Cant decide between this and DA:O / DA2.... hmm

I actually got it for $20 off today, pretty good deal I'd say. Now, just to figure out how to get the patches :/
dial up world problems ;D

Got my patches installed, really enjoying this. Does anyone else have a problem playing with different play styles. So far every character I've made has played basically the same. Stealth, bows, backstab. Thieves Guild / Dark Brotherhood missions are where my focus is.

And magic is really cool this time around, I wish I could give it a try at some point (but I always end up with another bow).

Also, forget heavy armor. I've never been able to play that way. .... :( Sneak kills with bows from the shadows work well enough... until a dragon shows up. >.>

I played a warrior/mage it worked well enough but i ended up heading in the stealth direction eventually

those two quests are better than the main quest anyways :)

Stealth is really fun. I hope to eventually try out magic though, as I do enjoy that.

And I *really* enjoyed the first part of the first college quest...

where you practice the spells in the 'class' environment ;)

I always play a mage that likes to sneak and steal their alchemy and enchanting components, plus what ever is necessary to get his skills up.

Anyone *not* use fast travel? I always start out not using it. I mean, the map is great to look at, but sometimes, I just really want to get the hell back to Riften, or Whiterun. And damn, that's a long walk. >.>

I try to use the horse and buggy thing, but I don't always do that either...

I don't think I've *ever* played a knight type character.... sort of in Oblivion (but that was more spellsword).... Maybe in one of the FF games.... I want to use heavy armor!

I have not used fast travel since Daggerfall, and I stopped using it during Daggerfall as noticed all the things I missed because of it.

However I agree it really is a long way between some of the important places in Skyrim... Which is why I turned down game time to take a really long time for one day to pass (makes life easier when you spend most of your game play at night)

finndo - there's an option for turning down gametime? is it a PC only thing? I don't recall ever hearing about that.... interesting.

Yes on PC, it is in the ini file for every elder scrolls game, I usually sweet it so that 24 hours in game takes 6, 8, or even 12 in real life. Especially Herzl when you have a quest that requires you to complete it either before the sun sets or before the sun rises. It should be possible to make a mod for it and make it available on stream also. Not sure if they ever got the consoles working with stream yet. If they did, that would make it available to all.
