Official! G2x Launching April 15 Online, In Stores April 20th

GOING TO BUY NAOW!

Damn... I want it now, but don't want to pay $25 for shipping to get it tomorrow. Will have to wait till Monday if I pay $12... DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!

Can't buy accessories yet apparently. Don't know if I want to touch the screen without a screen protector. And there was a problem with my order that is taking forever to fix. I WILL GET THIS PHONE NO MATTER WHAT! Damn you internet.

I don't really see anything that would make me want the Sensation over the G2x. Sensation has half the internal storage, but more ram (which really evens out since the Sensation is running sense and needs the extra.), a slightly larger screen with a slightly higher resolution and a .2 Mhz faster processor. Nothing really stands out and screams "Buy me instead!". Also, HTC has started locking their bootloaders etc.

And that .2 better processor is a snapdragon. Tegra 2 already proven to be better...

on top of the fact that the Snapdragon is based on ARM Cortex A8 versus ARM Cortex A9 :D

but yeah, i agree with everyone else in here and have decided that the G2x is prob the better buy. this is mostly because i've found myself not needing/wanting Sense UI. at first i thought, well now that it will be zippy as all get out, i'll like Sense UI. but the truth is... i recently realized that i got rid of Sense on my current phone for a reason... because i don't want it to be like everyone else's out there. if i got a Sensation, i'd hope that CM or MIUI came to it so i could put that on it. so if i'm just going to strip it down (which may not even be an option if HTC locks that bootloader), might as well get the LG G2x. plus... it's a smaller device.

still going to wait until they're both out, and possibly even the SGS2 just to compare, but i'm leaning more and more towards this guy
