Walked by a verizon kiosk and asked if they got the bionic in yet. Got one right here, you want it? Duh, of course. 30 mins. later out the door with a new bionic. This thing is awsome.

What is the build quality like? I'm concerned about the plastic vs. the metal of the DX.

So one day away from "official launch day"!!!!
Im strating this thread to allow everyone who recieves their device to share in one location.
Once you get you device, feel free to add first thoughts, impressions and pictures! Maybe this will help people who are on the fence and would like lots of opinions from many users!

I can't give a good answer yet I keep messing with it and when I got it it was at 30%. Activating and syncing apps and contacts almost killed it , charged for 15-20 mins played again almost died after 45 mins. I have also been on 4g the whole time. I am charging now and will let you know more soon.

Pics....plus a picture of your username and date or it didn't happen. Since your user name has the word "fib" in it, you have to go through a more extensive background check. lol jk. :p

I finally got to play with the bionic and I have to say....Pentile or no pentile the screen is awesome! I have the D3 and I find it a little brighter. Of course, that's my opinion. What do you think?

The screen is great. I already watched part of a movie from netflix crystal clear. Walked around in the sun looking at it with no problems.

Since the D3 uses the same tech and same resolution as the Bionic, the D3 will look brighter and sharper, since smaller display.
