Official - My Droid Razr is here!!! thread

I'm wondering about my battery too. Seems like every time I go to use it, I get the low battery warning. Seems like there are quite a few of us with this battery nonsense, but most others don't seem to experience it. Maybe it is a dud batch. I'll go in Monday to the VZW store to see about swapping out.
 
Got mine today, looks nice and big. It's true that it can feel warmer but nothing serious. I need to test the battery tomorrow.

Pandora and Weather Channel will definitely suck up power if running in the background. Can't say anything about Hot Stripper Girl and probably shouldn't make any comments about sucking power LOL

Really ? I can't believe anyone is complaining about the battery, I had the LG Revolution and that battery life was like 4-5 hours. My Razr has been outstanding in comparison.

Most Razrs seem to be between very decent and amazing as far as battery life goes, but from what people are saying, a noticeable number appears to have issues in that department, probably because of actually bad batteries or bad electronics.
 
Upgraded from an Eris...have had my Razr for two weeks now and am loving it.

I'm getting 10-12 hours on the battery...smart actions, gps off, 3g on/lte off, etc. Coming from the Eris this thing is amazing.
 
Talking with Verizon about battery life. Was given a test to do. First off I did a factory reset. Reloaded just my essential info back in. Ran the phone for 1/2 day and it did a bit better but not great for hardly using it. Called verizon. Was told to Fully charge phone and then do a [FONT=&quot]test phone call to #2539 for 10 to 15 min. It should not drop to 90%. I did this call three times. Each time it droped 10%. So in 45 min of talk time without anything else running on the phone I was down to 70%. That means after 150 min my phone would be dead. Not even close to the 750 min talk time advertized.
I ordered another phone. It just showed up today. First thing i did was fully charge it. then set it up, downloaded my apps and then ran almost two full movies from netflix on it before it died. Now its fully recharging again. I think this phone is going to work alot better for battery life then the other phone.

I got mine yesterday. Thank you Amazon for the $0.01 sale on this sweet device. And now that I have figured out how to turn off the audio notifications from Gmail I am even happier!!!
 
I bought my wife one on Sunday, kind of by accident, for 99.00 at a military exchange sponsored/located, multi-carrier kiosk. She had been having problems with her Eris and she was due, so....

I took it home and broke it it out, and she was like, holy hell, why did you get me a tablet phone?!?! LOL

But since then she has really decided she liked it... a whole freakin lot! She's a facebook hound, constantly taking pics of activities, kids, grandkids and posting via the phone. At about 8:30 last nite, she said look at this...and battery was about 50%, give or take, after a whole day off charger. She used browser some, used maps to get to some store she wanted to go to, and other things. So I think that is fairly decent and more than she will ever need.

She is getting used to moto-whatever vs. Sense, but all-in-all, she is crazy about the phone. Her only concern is a holster for it, as she likes to side-carry horizontal vs. straight up and down or in the pocket, and not a clip in.
 
This phone is great, the camera is horrible! Both still pictures and video are grainy and horribly exposed. Really really disappointed in the camera. That's the only complaint i have and it's a big one
