We sound like a bunch of kids who can't wait for Christmas, and we're staying up all night to "catch" Santa in the act!
So, when they finally do start arriving, and THOSE posts start coming in, are they all going to be prefaced with that infamous seen from Steve Martin's "The Jerk", where he's standing outside the gas station and the new phone books arrive? "THE PHONE BOOKS ARE HERE! THE PHONE BOOKS ARE HERE!! THE NEW PHONE BOOKS ARE HERE!!!"....

Oh, BTW, MINE is on a freakin' truck headin out of Memphis. Gonna be here by 4:30 PM TOMORROW!! And the thing that I have going for me, is that it will be delivered to my business as next day BEFORE NOON, because my FedEx lady loves me, and doesn't want to drive out to my house! WOOHOO!!!

I'm kind of in the same boat. Mine said it should be here by 4:30, but I have to close tomorrow so I'm at work from 4:00 to 11:00 and I have to leave the house at 3:30, so I'll probably end up having to wait until Friday morning before class, so I won't get a thing done at school Friday, unless of course the battery dies on me.

Since I didn't preorder and am getting 1 for free, I sent the DM a nice email "reminding" him!
I mentioned how many people had phones being delivered tomorrow and would like to meet him before 5 tomorrow so I can have mine too.
I'll be getting tattoo'd from 6pm-12am. Perfect chance to learn my phone huh? haha!

Leave a note on the door "please leave the package" and sign the paper.
At least that's what I've learned to do, having dealt with UPS/Fedex in the past. lol

You may be the only one whos had any luck doing that. Ive tried it before to no avail. They never do it. At least the guy who drops things off here. Maybe he doesnt like me or maybe he does if you know what I mean

went home last night to find a card behind door from postman saying they tried to deliver the parcel (that wasnt due until today) and they had taken it to a local post office.
So off i went to find the post office in question that I didnt even know existed as there are two much larger ones closer to my house than I was assuming this one.
I was right, it was a tiny one desk sub post-office within a shop and the person who runs it decided to take a half day yesterday so it was frickin shut !!!!!!!!!! Girl in the shop says the woman who runs it sometimes does that on a wednesday ....RAGING !!!!!
now I need to wait until tonight, hopefully if I can out of work on time and hopefully if Postman Pat's grandmama hasnt went to bed early then I will get the phone.

Remember, all Verizon/FedEx shipments are IRS (Indirect signature required). Either you or someone else has to be there to sign for it, they may attempt at a neighbors house, or you can leave a signed note stating it's OK to leave the shipment. The courier must be able to take the note with them, so if you leave the note on the inside of a locked storm door, it will not be left.
Note should be dated, note FedEx, the shipper (Verizon) and the tracking number if available. Note MUST be signed. Print your name also as the courier has to put that info into the powerpad (tracker). You can specify where you want the package left (inside storm door, behind bushes, neighbor, apartment office, etc). They will not reroute the shipment to another address (work, sisters house, etc). Reroutes have to be done via the 1-800 # and take an additional day.
Put the note somewhere your sure the FedEx courier will find it. If packages are usually left at your back door, put it there. Front door if that's the most common area for delivery.
If you miss the FedEx courier you should be able to pick it up at the FedEx station that evening. Some cities vary depending on the size of the station. Call 1-800-GO-FEDEX (with your tracking number or the door tag number left by the courier) to confirm you can pick up the shipment, hours pickup is available, and an approximate ETA the courier will return to station.

Same here although I ordered a few days late waiting for my NE2 credit but better be here Friday or I'm gonna be pissed.
It was an automated email from VZW that we all got - Maybe your spam filter grabbed it? from your above post, i'll bet it shows up today. keep hope alive!
