The N6 popped up on the AT&T site for $49.00 on contract. Then it was taken down.

GOOGLE will announce it on their blog, low key, no event.

IT'S ON VERIZON!

Google will announce on a blog post. But for a few minutes this morning it appeared on the AT&T site, then was pulled.

Here's the latest from the Verge... but take note they're often wrong in their reporting.

They claim as of today the Nexus 5 is no longer in the Play Store - Not True, I've included the proof.

Look up. Already announced. :)

Too expensive, too big, love the fact it is amoled but I'm not sure I can pluck down that much money. Might wait for a craigslist selloff

Yes I'm an immediate buyer.

Several hundred less than iPhone 6 +

It's a far better phone for me.

Rumor has it the Nexus 6 won't bend... ha... ha... :D

WOW. I thought Nexus phone is about value and affordability.

I just got my Note 4 this past Monday. I think 5.7" is about as big as I want to go.

No removable battery on Nexus and no S-pen.

I'll have to wait for the carriers as well. I'm due for a contract renewal (have been since june)

I have modified the poll to reflect this option

Considerably higher than I was expecting, though I'm going to remain very cautiously optimistic that when Google actually posts prices on the Play store they may be a bit lower. I'm willing to spend more than the Nexus 4/5 price point but that's too much more. Sadly I dropped my N4 a couple weeks ago and the kitchen floor impact left it non-functional. I've been quite pleased with the BoostMobile Moto G I bought as an interim - now it's to decide if I spend the $$ on the N6 or some competitive alternative or go for the more affordable N5 (while they last?). I'm impressed with the N6 specs and I'm not afraid of the size but I'm philosophically opposed to that kind of pricing when I was used to the previous Nexus pricing model.

I am very suprised by the dual front speakers.

Where does that leave HTC now?

So is Moto X the new smaller Nexus 6 version so to speak?

Here's my take on pricing. Yes, beyond a shadow of a doubt this is an expensive phone.

Regarding value and affordability, that was somewhat of a last minute decision before launching the original. It was done to attract buyers in the mainstream market.

However the Primary Target Market for Nexus has always been to make them available for developers. That was first and foremost what the Nexus line was, and is for.

There's very little demand for a stylus, even though I'm one of the few and use it frequently on my Note 3, the implementation is so well done by Samsung there wasn't a good reason for including one on the N6.

The reason I'm willing to pay what I perceive to be full tilt retail pricing, is simply due to the fact that the Nexus 6 is dare I say "the perfect phone for me".

Frankly it's so ideal I can hardly believe it.
