I've signed up for the email notice on both Sony.ca, as well as on Rogers website. So far I'm still waiting to hear a date when it'll hit Canada.

I watched a demo video earlier today, that showed an X10 with AT&T homescreen branding (the Sony rep even made mention of the fact).

JapanToday has stated that Docomo will be releasing the X10 in Japan on April 1st.

At least it seems to be an official date, even if it's for the other end of the world (for me).
 
I ordered mine from Expansys and was told it should be delivered tomorrow and when I emailed them to confirm the delivery will be tomorrow I got:

Hi Robert

Unfortunately Sony has put the date back until w/c 12th April

Even tho today they added the following to their website:

Have just pre-ordered mine on contract from mobiles.co.uk

Have been told they're expecting stock on Friday 2nd April which is a bank holiday so may not get it until the next week :(
 
ok, just phoned Expansys to query why the website was updated and was told that they dont have information of a delay for the Simfree version, so Im wondering diid the guy who emailed me get my order confused with a t-mobile contract version which was delayed. Anyway, been told by the guy on the phone that it will be delivered on Wednesday... on a side note I emailed SE about official release date (after being told it was delayed by them until 12th April) and got this:

Dear Robert,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson support centre.
Having looked into this further the Sony Ericsson X10 will be officially launched on the 31/03/2010 but as for when stores will have the handset in stock for sale we dont know this. We would advise that you contact phone stores for more information on this.

I have pre-ordered one from a carrier in the Netherlands and the delivery date is set for the 8th of April. That is next week I will have a brand new toy... I mean phone.
 
Another new update. Expansys has CHANGED my order and the handset I will receive is no Longer the UK handset... They have also delayed the order. This is a pain in the backside for a handset that costs
 
I've noticed that Play.com have changed the due date to 14/04/10...I popped into my local Car Phone Warehouse and they confirmed that it would be around that date too :(.

Really hope it's worth waiting for with the delay after delay...
 
Expansys are part shipping the EU handset to me... apparently its the same except for european charger so they are supplying an additional charger.

Anyone know if a Motorola Dext MicroUSB charger will work in it?
