Help Offline Images

[Johngotti]

Hi,

I'm new to the forums. I got a Galaxy S3 recently and I've just realised that there's a folder called offline images in the gallery folder that automatically downloads images despite deleting the folder. How do I stop this from happening?

Welcome to Android Forums Johngotti. I moved your thread into the general S3 area where it should receive the attention it deserves from our friendly members. Have fun and thanks for joining the community.

Hello. Also new user here.
I have the same question about the S3 that keeps generating offline images despite deleting them every time. And they are coming hundreds of them.
Olbriar, i read your post, but i cannot find this thread in general S3 area. Can you please tell me where to find it?
Thank you.

Do you folks have google+ installed? Google+ automatically uploads photos to an album unless you turn off that option after you install it.

I knew about the Google+ issue. I bought the phone with Google+ installed, but the account is not configured. So i guess it's not active.
In this "Offline images" floder there are two kinds of images:
- images that cannot be read by the S3, they just appear black with an icon in the center;
- images that i dont recognize, these have nothing to do with me or my active profiles, social accounts, etc.
The images seems to be downloaded from some places, maybe connected with my browsing history, i dont really know. But in this case i should recognize some pictures, which i dont.
