Root Oh boy... DX brick... SBF question

tried searching and reading up on it but all it did is get me more confused. The phone was on the official 2.3.340 OTA. Somehow I managed to render it unuseable... good things happen when I take a day off from work :)
Which SBF should I use to get me to a fresh, spankin new, out-of-the-box like DX to have a clean, up to date slate for my rooting escapades?
I realize I cant go back to 2.3.15. But what about 2.3.320 Full SBF...and then theres the system only 2.3.340....
any help in the direction I should take/what files to use will be immensely appreciated.

good question; went medieval with flashing and somewhere in the process it all went haywire. The thing is I was at the exact same situation awhile back- back in the good ol' days when a 2.3.15 SBF fixed it in no time.
I guess I got overzealous with the new Liberty ROM and apparently missed a step (or two) somewhere :)

edit: would SBFing to 2.3.320 from Droid X: 2.3.32 Full SBF and then doing the maderstcok - OTA 2.3.340 update.zip be the solution Im looking for?

sweetness!!! thanks a bunch!!!!!!!!!!
I promise to not flash anything onto my phone on my days off anymore. Its gotta be karma for my sudden "stomach flu" :D:D:D

since I already downloaded the 2.3.340 system only sbf... it doesnt matter if I use maderstcok's flashable zip or the above mentioned sbf right? same results if im not mistaken...
im already past the 2.3.320 sbf btw.

I know it's late, but what exactly happened? As important as knowing how to SBF is, it's also important to know when it's necessary. ;)

I hear you. The phone started bootlooping: I remedied that with battery pulls and re-flashing the ROM. When I thought the coast was clear it would reboot while trying to make a phone call. On top of that, it would not receive phone calls... In all honesty, I believe I did a little too much, too fast (geez, sounds like the college years). Once I have a blank slate I'll be gentle this time around; most definitely not rush through it (once again- flashbacks :) ).

If you can get into your SD Card from recovery then no there is no problem with flashing the full SBF.
