You don't think they'd care it stopped working from a fall or that I'm rooted? I have a feeling they'd try to make me pay for a new one (in which case I walk out saying eff you, your stuff is expensive)
No I think you would be fine. If the card is bad then they should replace it. Would just bring it in and say it doesnt work, tell them you tried it in a computer and all that.... might work, never know
