tonight sucked. tried using titanium backup to incorporate some of the google apps updates into system. well the phone didn't like that (or google didn't) as I kept getting some google related force closes.
Long story short, after searching the web and trying some fixes ( even doing a factory reset) with the problem continuing, I decided to copy some google apks into the system folder.
Unfortunately, instead of copying and pasting the files into the folder it seems like it OVERWROTE the whole folder with JUST the google stuff.
now im in a freaking boot loop
and hard data reset doesn't seem to be working (I had done it from the rom before)
So well, be careful!
and hopefully someone makes some sort of progress with the volts so im not stuck with a $150 week old paper weight lo9l.
