Help Oh nooooooo! Dead GTab

So I go to turn on the Tab this morning--I get the birds, then the GTab Devs screen (Vegan Ginger). It usually goes to the 'Vegan Ginger' boot screen for two or three minutes, then it's up.

This time it hangs on the 'GTab Devs' screen indefinitely.

So I power off and try to boot into CWM. I get birds, then black screen, then it flashes 'ANDROID' like it does when it goes to CWM...only it doesn't proceed to CWM. The screen just goes blank black. The screen is on--I can see the backlight--but it won't go past that.

So...before I try NV Flash (which I've never done and sounds terrifying), any other ideas? Also, should it really take that long to boot--it's literally slower than an old Win 3.1 box, like two or three minutes on the Vegan Ginger animation.

Sounds like your in APX mode. What happens when you hold down the power? Does it reboot?

I was just going to update this--I don't know if it was in APX mode, from reading I think it was closer to bootlooping. I think.

Either way, I got over my fear of NV Flash and did it. It's fine now. In fact, I've now NV Flashed the thing maybe two dozen times since I posted, even flipped over to the 1.2 bootloader in hopes of loading Brilliant Corners, but I can't make it happen. Got the 4388 stock TnT up and running, but you don't flash Brilliant Corners like other ROMs, apparently, and it's not loading like the developer says it should (or, more likely, I'm doing it wrong).

But either way I'm back on 1.1 and on CM7 now, and trying to figure out how to load Google Apps.
