Help Ok google

It's a feature a use a lot from my homepage, as I'm sure lots of people do. But after an update today is just freaked me out!

I actually performed a typed search from the Google widget, but when the results page popped up I noticed no google logo at the top of the page. Instead the google bars moving around... Listening to my room, to me... Aghhh...

Lol I had to laugh, but it creeped me out as it's not something I had thought about before or been shown so blatantly!! Oddly I have not been able to repeat this erm creepy listening.

Personally I do not have ok google set to listen to me from the lock screen, mearly when the phone is on the homeoage, so this did throw me..

I've been having issues with the widget. I don't use OK Google but sometimes I have to tap the search bar 2-3 times to get a response. I'm thinking it may be a Nougat glitch on our Nexus 6's. I've been having a variety of slightly irritating issues. I'm going to a 7.1 ROM. I think AICP has Nightlies.

I've not had any issues with it since the Nougat update, I am however using Nova launcher. Maybe a cache clear could help bg?

I am using Action Launcher. It seems like if an application is already open in my recents, which I never use, sometimes the desktop icon won't work. I've cleared cache. So maybe it's the launcher.

Could be, do a quick launcher change and see if it works ok on the normal google launcher.
