I'll admit, I'm a complete and total noob at the video calling thing. What I'm looking for is a way to do video calling from the Galaxy Tab to a PC for sure and possibly an iOS device. The Tab to PC connection is what is the most critical.
I tried ooVoo. I couldn't get it from the market, but I found an apk on XDA and side loaded it. It doesn't work. It uses the rear-facing camera instead of the front facing camera, it doesn't recognize my bluetooth headset as a microphone (although the Tab does and lets me do voice searches from it) and the video from the Tab never arrives at my PC even though we're on the same wifi network.
Qik seems to only work from mobile to mobile devices so it may work for Android to iOS. I don't have an iOS device so I can't test it. Skype apparently does not support the front facing camera. People have suggested Yahoo Messenger to me, but I can't find it in the market for the Tab either. Market.android.com says it's not compatible with my device. Any other ideas on what will work? I bought the tab largely because of the video calling functionality, yet it looks like it's somewhat limited.
