Hello people!! is there any way or any application I can use to transfer all my contacts and apps from my old android device to my new one? Please don't say Dr.Fone I'm hoping there's a free way of doing this?

what phone do you have? most manufacturers have their own data backup and restore programs......for example samsung has smart switch.

there are also apps that can backup your text messages.....sms backup works great

and google photos backs up your photos so you do not need to worry about your photos. just sign in to your new phone and BOOM! your photos are there. now that is provided your photos have been sync'd up already.

The fact that you don't tell us what brand the new one is, just the SoC manufacturer, makes me suspect that it's an off-brand device that has provided no data transfer tool. Is that correct?

If you have your contacts synced with any account (Google is commonest with Android, but others are also possible) then you can simply resync them with the new phone. If not, then go into your old phone's Contacts app, select "export" from the app's settings, and that will copy them to a .vcf file. Copy that to the new phone and then "import" them into the new phone's Contacts app.

Apps? When Google's data transfer app failed on my current phone (Pixel) I used Helium to take a backup of my old phone and then restored that to the new phone. That didn't get every app's data, but it got most. And of course I copied the contents of my user-accessible storage ("/sdcard") to a computer and from there to the new phone.
