old duffer late starter

Hi, I am an ex-luddite being dragged into the android world due to my employers proposal to upgrade all our environmental metering to blue-tooth connectivity.

I have years of experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering but have avoided the mobile phone as much as possible up to this point... I have recently purchased a secondhand unlocked san francisco and must say have enjoyed all the tech stuff of connecting to computer, downloading app's and playing with settings.

I joined up here to get some feedback from "those who know" on a progressive screen problem with the phone. I have posted about it in the correct forum.

I know diddly about the ZTE Blade, but my $.02 is I'd have to agree with you that your screen issue seems most likely to be a hardware problem. Hopefully the folks that actually know something about that phone can help you figure out what's going on.
