Help Old phone query

HTC A3333 how do I transfer a number I have received - either text or call - to my phone book?

Sorry if this has been answered in the past but I've checked most places for the answer.

If it's a call have you tried pressing and holding the number (long press) in the call list? That usually brings up contextual options. Ditto for text, try it with the number at the top of the thread when viewing the messages.

Both work on my HTC M7, but the Wildfire will be running a much older version of the software so I can't guarantee it works there. But the general principle (press and hold to bring up options) is probably worth trying until you find where it works. Pressing the "menu" key while viewing a message might also be worth a go.

I'll give it a try as the menu key is not helpful, view and delete. Thanks
