Root Old thunderbolt - return to stock

LoyalServant

This phone has not been pulled out of the drawer in over a year or more...
I figured I would return it to stock and give it to a co-worker that smashed her old Droid 2.

It's running thunderstick and it's got the revolutionary s-off...
Is a return to stock out of the question for this?

Anything I need to do special to avoid bricking it?

You can use trters tool to unroot,or follow the directions in the root/unroot thread.

I personally do not see any benefits to unrooting. I would reccomend to flash the stock ics Rom and radios linked in the root/downgrade ics thread :)

Thanks for the pointers Scotty....
The only reason I wanted to go completely stock on this device is to give it to someone.
I am not going to use it anymore and it served me faithfully for a long time.
Just not sure I want to give her a phone that I modded to death if you get my meaning :)
