old vs new optimus

Ok so I got my optimus when it first came out.. my girlfriend just got the optimus m today.. her screen looks a lot clearer than mine.. its like a
 
How far apart are your manufactured dates? Maybe over time they eventually lose some quality...what screens did you bring up to compare? I don't see any blueish "cool" tint to mine. Manufacture date of mine is April of this year I believe.
 
I think they may have different screens because when Reppard put the driver fix on his CM7 ROM some peoples didn't work they just got a black screen when booting. I remember if you typed these two commands in terminal depending on what screen you had it would respond to one or the other commands. :D So yes it is possible that you may have different screens :p
