Help OMG How Do I Use The Dialer??

I just activated my phone and I am totally lost in the most basic of phone tasks.. Dialing a number and ENDING the call Or Hanging Up.. I cannot figure out from the dialer how to do this and I need to use the phone...ty

Hit phone icon, touch the little dots down at the bottom center, will bring up dialer... If you can't figure out the rest I cannot help you lol.

Right and for those red green colorblind they do not see anything that is eye catching

But everyone has been in your shoes at one time. There is a learning curve coming from a keypad based phone to an Android touch smart phone.

I think the dialer is pretty poor myself.

No red/green - type (dial) the number and hit the phone icon bottom middle.

Alternatively start to type in a contact name eg Dan - 325 and fitting options will show up.

Ive had my phone a while now and i still don't understand the logic of it.
Why aren't contacts on the front page to start with so i don't have to scroll to find them.

Personally I think it works just fine. Having no problems or difficulties with it at all.

The simplest way for me is to bring up the dialer and start typing the name of the contact you want. Works OK for me.

Speed dial - where you long press a number on the dialer to call somebody? No - that is not supported on the stock ROM.

But you can add a direct dial contact icon to your home page or a folder instead. Or you can say "ok google. Call John Smith"

ExDialler app is so much more my cup of tea.Nice and straight forward.
