What do I do to increase?
It's so horrible I can barely get 5 hours and I'm just texting and listening to music.
What is the battery anyways? Mah?

There are many apps that I use which help out a lot like Setcpu which allows you to underclock your phone you might think why would i do that? You can set up a profile to underclock your phone when your screen is off or when your battery is below a certain level and many more. Juicedefender turns off wifi, data etc when your not using it so both things aren't running at once. Greenify makes apps hibernate so they don't take up to much memory RAM, and Clean Master even though its a app to free up space, it additionally notifies you when there's too many apps running sucking up thay battery life. All of these apps combined will significantly increase your battery life.

This phone has a 1650 mAh battery, which is not enough considering that it has some pretty decent specs dual core 1.5 Ghz cpu just like MetroPCS's SGS3 and LTE capabilities. I highly encourage you to view the extended battery post and email the company in the post so they can fabricate a better battery for this phone.

Your just better off buying a portable charger off amazon until we get an extended battery. Buy one of the smaller ones so when you carry it around you can't notice it's on you. Your battery gets to a certain level just take it out plug it in and your worries are over. Plus it works for more than just android devices. Charge it up at night and just take it with you wherever you're going.

I always get 14+ hours out of my premia probably half that time if i use it continuously, if you're only texting and listening to music try turning on the power-saving mode on the phone. Also make sure you don't have extra apps that run in the background when not in use by either uninstalling them and finding a more efficient one or by using the dev options and reduce the background process limit.

Try using boneface's Stock76 ROM. I gained a lot of battery life using that instead of stock. Right now I still have 53% battery left after moderate use (few phone calls, text messages, checking tapatalk etc. Phone has been off the charger since 6 this morning ;)

With stock firmware I would have been at or below 50% at 3 PM!

EDIT: And yes, power save mode does help quite a bit too

Ever since I rooted and used the root app Setcpu I've used anywhere from 10-15% in a matter of about 2-4 hours. (That does include listening to music, texting, Chrome, fanfiction, etc..)

Perhaps you may consider going down the path of rooting yours as well?
