On telus just updated to 2.1

Just upgraded to 2.1 on Telus. Frankly I don't see any difference. I now have pinch and zoom in the browser. But the Media gallery is the same. There is not speak and type. I frankly see no differences. Did Telus do it's usual and give us nothing for our money? Am I doing something wrong?

Don't have a Telus Milestone, was considering before I read this thread. It took Telus a while to get the update and they did not even get the full 2.1.

I've updated to 2.1 now. I think we're getting screwed over on the new update... it took months to release 3 updates??? Come on!

New App Launcher - No
Voice Typing For All Text Fields - No
New Widgets - No
3D Photo Gallery - No
Bluetooth Hands Free Dialing - Yes
Faster Processing - Not that I can tell.

Well that blows. Why bother calling it an update. Typical Telus. If the Milestone wasn't such a great phone I tell them to bury it. Wonder how long to get the next update...and how come they can't send us a text to tell us an update is available? We have to ferret around the web to stumble on it. Telus needs to spend more time on looking after their customers and less time on the blingy commercials.

Man, I'd kill for Bluetooth voice dialing on the Droid or Incredible. Wallpapers and widgets are scarce compensation when you've just driven your car into a mall trying to dial on your stupid Droid by touching the screen over and over.
