One annoying feature...

I LOVE this phone. But I noticed something pretty annoying and I'm hoping someone can help this. With the Droid and X, when I talked on the phone, the screen shuts off to prevent my face from hitting buttons. Razr does not do this. Is there a way to change this? I looked under "Call Settings" but didnt see anything. Thanks in advance

It's supposed to shut off. Mine wasn't shutting off a couple days ago. I rebooted the phone and it started working correctly again.

Sometimes the proximity sensor gets obscured by dust, grease or whatever and can't detect reliably.. it can malfunction either way: screen off at inopportune times or not off when it's supposed to be off. Also it can malfunction and needs a reboot, etc.

Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that pocket detection causes problems with blacking out of the screen?

Yeah, it was doing it to me, read that somewhere and since then it's been right on point...
