One annoying problem I've had since getting my phone

I've had my phone since Feb. of this year, and the one problem I've had to deal with since getting it is the wifi speed on my phone dropping to incredibly slow speed. I keep having to forget my home network, then connect to it again just so the speed will go back to normal. Why is this happening and how do I stop it from happening again?

Did you Wipe Cache Partition deleting all temporary data and not touching permanent data, settings, or added apps?

It might be the solution.

Download WiFi Overview from the play store and scan for surrounding networks. I'll bet you are going to find neighboring networks broadcasting at similar power levels as your home network on the same channel. The fix is to set your home router/access point to use a channel that has the least traffic on it

Or you could get licensed by the FCC to broadcast a few megawatts of power ... or move.

Changing channels is easier. :D

I downloaded something back when I first got my new modem that showed me the channels everyone around me was using and I selected one that only a couple of people were using. This never stopped this problem from happening .
