one email acct to two phones?

My wife and I have an email account that we share (family stuff etc...). Can we set up each of our android phones to access the same account, without creating any conflicts?

Thanks.

Sure you can, but keep in mind that as soon as one of you reads or deletes a message, it's going to be marked read / deleted from the other phone as well, etc.

There shouldn't be any physical / software limitation, though.

Messages will not delete if the phone's local setting is marked to leave deleted messages on server.

If you have Android 2.1, you can have multiple Gmail accounts. Just set up separate gmail accounts for the market place.

Alternatively, instead of sharing the single family email to both phones, have the family email account forward messages to the individual emails. Lots of options with Gmail.
