Help One Person Going Straight To Voicemail Everytime

I'm having an odd issue here. I have a friend that can't call me for some reason. Every time she calls my phone takes her straight to VM, no ringing on my end, no ringing on her end. I also have a Google Voice number the routes directly to my cell phone and she's tried calling that and the same exact thing happens. I can receive text messages from her just fine and I can call her just fine but she can't get through to me unless she dials *67, or whatever you dial to block your number. It has nothing to do with signal strength either because we've tested in my house several times. I took her phone, dialed my phone and couldn't get through but then would have someone else in the room dial me and it worked fine. I've restarted the phone, disconnected the battery, checked contacts to make sure I don't have her checked off as "send to voicemail". This has been happening for at least 30 days now so I can't really say if it's a newly installed app or not. I find it odd that it would only effect her though if it was an app. I am on CM7.0.3 but I've been on CM7 since the first stable release with no issues. I'm hoping someone knows something that I don't know here. I know if I call VZW they will just tell me to factory reset and I really don't want to have to go through all that stuff just so one person can call me again and I still would like to know why this is happening.

That's strange for sure. Have you tried deleting her contact info from your phone? Maybe the "Send to Voicemail" option is really on but somehow shows as off under CM7.

I would delete her contact completely and then see if she can call you. If so, create a new contact for her from that incoming call and then have her try again to make sure it still works.

Just tried it and she said she still goes to Voicemail. Any other ideas?

I haven't tried flashing the radio or doing a clean wipe. It's only one person and I just tell her to text me to call her when she needs to talk on the phone. I'm probably getting the Bionic when it comes out in a few weeks so I haven't felt like going through all that stuff when I'm just going to have to do it in a few weeks anyways. If you flash the radio and do a clean wipe, let us know so we know if that fixes it though. It's def a weird little bug...

Wow...sure enough. Their number was in there. How in the world did that happen I wonder? I didn't even know that thing existed. Great work on figuring that one out!!!!

Ahhh.. Yes, the blacklist. I was going to suggest that as well, just couldn't remember WHERE to find it. I did that to my husband once! LOL Had no idea it happened. He drives truck so he's gone weeks at a time and I thought it odd I hadn't heard from him because he usually calls every couple days. I called him and he asked me if something had been wrong with my phone because he kept trying to call me but it went to voicemail. I had gotten other calls from other people, but he couldn't get through. I noticed while I was talking to him that there was a button on the screen (I think I was running a CM rom at the time) that you could push and it would hang up on the current call and blacklist the number! Got rid of that rom quick so I didn't do it again by accident! LOL

I'm having the same issue with my phone. I have an LG Optimus S. However, when I tried to go to settings>call settings>??? I dont have a blacklist. Can someone assist me please?

Wow! I fixed it. I had to go the phone number>click the menu>choose options and sure enough, the send to voicemail was checked.
