Hello
I finally decided to sort my upgrade and with a fair deal from t-mobile (uk) went for the one-x, picked up from bluewater store this evening.
Am gingerly charging the phone now, have inserted the micro sim. a brief turn on showed it was android 4.03 and build .26 but according to t mobile forums the update should be available now for .28
I'm almost scared to touch it, it looks so delicate and slim!
I have come from a htc desire which i had for over 2 years. a few probs on the way with the random restarts but was good till last weekend.
i know i will miss the optical tracker and my 4 buttons. but the one-x seems the only decent choice. considered nokia lumina..i phone..samsung...
the mrs will be getting her one-s in a few days too, so will be interesting to compare the phones against each other. (from a wildfire)
Will apps i paid for be available from the market again?
Does it have the normal phone type keypad?
guess i will find out soon enough... am a bit anxious how the battery life will work out too, esp as i am a mobile engineer so not exactly always plugged in. i'm used to a case as well, perhaps a screen protector this time. my desire got a few scratches when it was new.
any advice for charging regime? cases? car chargers? special tips i might not have seen/ read?
thanks in advance,
Phil M
