Help OnePlus 3 sometimes makes an audible whirring sound

Hello,
Have a Oneplus 3 phone that just makes a whirring sound all of a sudden even though I am not doing anything with it. The phone I have is close to 5 years old and does this mean that it is approaching it's end of life?

does not sound good. something like that is most likely a hardware issue. 5 years is a good run for a phone.

well, 5 years is such a good time. but without seeing the device we can't do anything.

it is better to go to one plus services center for inspection or repair.
