i purchased a OnePlus X but have been using another phone for awhile. My husband tickered with the phone while waiting in line to purchase a new sim (TELUS) and he tells me that the phone is restarting.
It turns out that he somehow formatted the phone. I have been testing the features using wiFi primarily but now I appear to have lost access to all of the images I had saved and the phone no longer recognizes my gmail account.
A career IT guy now wants to take it apart and do all sorts of diagnostics; I want to know if there is a way for me to recover my own data.
I am completely new to this but I am willing to try to recover the data myself.
If this is not an option, then I do need to know what to do next.
