I used a link from this thread. I cannot remember which one, but I did use one.
Also, there are 365 (366 including this post) posts in this thread. I'm guessing that about 350 (+/-) of those posts are actual referral links. I'm sure that most people who use a referral link will probably just use one from the very first page of this thread (as compared to going to a page in the middle or end of the thread).
I wouldn't take it personally. Just post your link on Facebook and your website (if you have one) and tell all of your friends about it. Eventually, you'll find people who will use your links. It just might take some time.
