Help Only "new mail" in my mailbox?

I use the stock mail on my stock Inspire (not rooted). I have 2 yahoo accounts and one gmail account merged together. It has worked fine for the first 3 weeks I had the phone, but this week I started having a problem.

The problem is that when I go into my mail, my inbox will only show new unopened mail. All of my previously opened mail does not show? Any ideas what's going on here and how I can fix it?

when you open your mailbox the envelope at the bottom of the screen that is first (highlighted) is it a closed or open envelope? my closed envelope only shows unread mail but the open envelope shows all my mail read/unread

I havent played with the stock email app too much as i normally use k-9 for my mail.

It doesn't matter which envelope I choose, open or closed, only the mail that came in over the past couple hours will show.

I had the same problem and what I did was open my mail tool, click on menu, click on "More", and then "Settings." In settings, I clicked on the "Send & Receive" option. In "Send & Receive," there is a "Download options" setting. When you click on that, you get an option to download only today's emails, three days worth of emails, etc. Click on "All" and you should get everything in your folders. I don't think there's a way to set up each of your email addresses up like this at once, so you'll have to do this with each one individually.

I may be wrong, but I'm certain this is what I did to fix that problem.

When I go into my mail and click the menu button there is not an option for "more". There are only these 6 options to choose from:

Stop
Sort
Compose
Folders
Accounts list
New account

That's because you have the inbox set to all accounts. You will have to try this for each account setup so at the top tap the arrow pick an account then follow those steps

Yeah, I should have put that you need to do it account by account at the beginning instead of the end of my post. Thought it might be a bit confusing. Glad it got cleared up, though.
