Onscreen button to swipe gesture app?

Hi,
I'm playing a game called Thumper, a rhythm based game, where one of the actions (turning) requires you to swipe to the left or right. I find it really difficult to time it right since I played it on pc with a keyboard. My question is: Is there an app, that adds buttons to phone's screen which can emulate swiping up, down, left and right?

I tried looking it up on google but I came across useless "Swipe Home Button" things.
All answers appreciated

There's actually quite a few games that use direction swipes to play, like Subway Surfers and Temple Run. But I've never seen or heard of any app that can emulate and map the swipe gestures to button pushes. In fact may not be possible, not without modifying and hacking the device's firmware somehow.

Thanks for the reply. I had that idea because of the gamepad keyboard I used to play undertale on my phone. I know it outputs the keyboard commands recognizable by the game, so I thought that some other app can do the same thing but for android. Well if it turns out that the firmware actually blocks it and there's no other way, I'll have to time my rhythm a few moments back.

yeah i doubt you will find anything like that. the only way i can see to help would be to contact the developers and let them know of your suggestion for future updates to their game.
