Help Ooopps! uninstalled important apps

Headbanger

Lurker
Having read that by deleting Orange bloatware off of my unlocked phone it may stop the jumping when using the music player I decided to install System App Remover.
I then deleted the 3 Orange files that show up in the list of apps
I then got a bit carried away and deleted a few more which I don't use and never will use.
One of these apps I deleted was Talk and I think maybe the 1 that is causing me a bit of grief.
I can no longer download from the Market, but can access it and the internet fine.
Very occasionally I get something like 'com.google.process.gapps has encountered a problem and needs to close'.
I am unable to reinstall these files via System App Remover as I didn't save them first (I know!!) and I have done a factory reset. However this hasn't reinstalled those files.
How do I reinstall these files, my understanding is that they were uninstalled, not deleted?

Only one way to do this. Flash your phone via ODIN. I know it sounds insane, but that's the only way. I learnt this the hard way too.

First have a read through the FAQ in my signature.

Make sure that you have a Galaxy S I9000 and not a vibrant or other Galaxy S variants. Next go to samfirmware.com and download the firmware you need and ODIN. You might need to download the pit file as well.

 Blimey, didn't think it was that serious!

Thanks for the info, will have to have a good look into it before trying anything!

Forgot to ask.

I'm running version 2.1 and have been trying to install Froyo via Kies for weeks.

Does this now mean I won't be able to do this because of the missing files?
