Oops, which app did this?

I was bored yesterday so I went into settings, applications, then storage. I cleared all caches and force stopped apps that I don't use, or didn't know what they were for. So after I did all this, all my home screens were cleared of all my widgets, icons, shortcuts, and apps that I had there. Which app do you think did this?

Excellent analysis and advice. But to answer the original question, it was likely the launcher, though how the launcher will appear in the apps list depends on the device.
