Help Open Camera > BLACK SCREEN!!!

Hi guys, I am having a massive problem with the HTC Desire, Whenever i try to open the Camera or Video camera i just get a black screen and all i can do is Press the "HOME" button to get out of it..

Im a massive camera user on this phone and need it sorted asap.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

When a restart wouldn't help I would look which apps the cam also use and then uninstall these apps one by one.
