Open Home

I have Open Home on my HTC Hero..... However I cannot set it to be my 'default desktop', so when I click home, it doesnt take me to my personalised Open Home, it takes me instead to the phones standard 'Home Desktop'. So each time I want to use Open Home I have to launch Open Home from the menu!

I dont have a HERO... but the same thing can happen with a G1. the way to
fix that is :

Go into Settings and where you manage apps ... find the "Home" app...and long-press it ..then press the clear defaults...

Exit and then reboot the phone...

On restart you should get an option screen with a check box for (default) click it first ...
and then select the home replacement app you want to be your default .. in your case the "Open Home" ...
