Open wifi networks

I want to know what the host of an open networks sees about your droid phone when you connect to their network.
Can they only see the MAC address or can they get more information like what you are doing on their network? Your android phone number?

Depends on what they're tracking. Not all WiFi access points are identical.

Phone number is highly unlikely.

Ok then....working at a hospital....open network. Just didn't know how much they could see or obtain from my device/phone.
