Open wifi problems??

I'm having problems browsing on open wifi networks. It connects ok but never loads anything up when i go to browse. My wifi seems to work fine on secure networks. Anyone know what this could be?

Are they networks that require you to login to purchase access time (i.e. the cloud in McD's) or completely open? If you need to purchase it should take you to a landing page to create an account.

Im not sure, althought one of the times i tried it was in MCDS but it didnt take me to a page. The other places i tried was a spar/subway and my gym.

You'll probably find that you need to do something like sign up an account so you can pay for access or go to a certain page to be able to access on those networks. Would be worth asking next time you are there. I can see no reason why you shouldn't be able to connect to a completely open network though.
