"Open with" via context menu?

Generally speaking, I have one app that I'd like to open certain files with probably 80% of the time, but the other 20% of the time I'd like to use a different app. Right now it seems that my choice is to tell Android to always use one app, but then when I do need to use another app to open an email attachment for instance, I have to go to the application manager, hunt through the long list of applications to clear the default, then go back to my email program, open the attachment and be presented with the option to use the app I want...and then set the default back to the original when I'm done. Which seems pretty inefficient. Isn't there a way to have a short click open in the default app, but a long click bring up a context menu with an open with option?

Sorry from what I'm awere there is no way to do so other than just leaving the choose window without setting a default.
Maybe if you use a launcher like adw or go ex it might have a customization for gestures like long hold and stuff.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. I've used a few different launchers including ADW and haven't seen any option that seems like it would do that, but I'll have to keep on the lookout.
