Opening a .tif file

Anybody know of an app that can open a .tif file Doesn't seem like the stock Transformer can perform this action

What kind of tif? How many bits? Colour/BW?
Why not convert them to JPG before copying?

It's an email attachment. Not sure what you mean by "kind of tif". It's a *.tif file. Just plain text, b&w, 61kb.

How do you convert to a .jpg? In any event converting it to a pdf would be better, but how is that possible?

There are programs out there that "print" to pdf. I have an old "bulzip" one. It WAS free, and works excellent.

Any decent paint program should be able to convert a tif image to a different format.

I've used those types of programs as well...cutepdf is a good one. However these don't work on the android platform afaik

Edit: For anyone interested, I just tried pdf converter from the market (free)..it works fairly well.

Please give "Fast Image Viewer Free" a try. It's much faster than trying to convert your TIFF files to PDF. I'd like to know how you missed it in the marketplace. What keywords did you use to search and did you see it in the results?

There are two types of TIF as far as I know - Intel and Motorola protocols - something to do with the first byte having reversed configurations!
