Apps Opening files or projects

I noticed in eclipse under file, there is no open project. But open file. So I could have gone into the folder of another project and open files of that on the same screen? I mean you open files one by one but you don't open a project?

In order to open a project, you have to go to File -> New Project -> Android Project

and then in the project dialog box, click the radial button for "Create from exisiting source." It's counter-intuitive, I know, but that's how you do it.

Then you are creating another project from the old project.
You want "File -> Import... -> Existing projects into Workspace" insted.
