Help Opening google search results with map links in Maps app rather than browser

Hi all,

When doing google searches for places in my standard Internet browser app or using Dolphin I used to be able to click on the large 'thumbnail' image of a google map result that would sometimes appear at the top of the google search results page (as happens if you are searching for a place, for example) and selecting that image would open up my Maps app and show me the results there.

Recently though, selecting this image has opened up an inferior google map within my browser window (as it would on a browser window) and I don't know what could have changed, or if a friend looking for something on my phone could have accidentally selected a default or something...any ideas?

Try re setting maps default

Setting, applications, select maps from list, clear defaults

Hey there,

Had a look in applications settings but it's showing as "no defaults set" - I wouldn't mind the maps app being set as a default from Google search results though, that would be a result!
