There are several best free viewer, I would recommend you to use Multi-TIFF Viewer.
Multi-TIFF Viewer allows you to view multi-page and single-page TIFF files.
You can open TIFF files using built-in file browser or 3rd party applications.
It supports a wide range of image compressions:

I installed the app and it does indeed open tif files, unfortunately there isn't an option to then go and save or convert the image.
I was reading that pixlr photo editor should be able to open tif files but even though I had the current version it wouldn't open tif files, any ideas on this?
I know I could do a screenshot but that would lower the image quality would it not?
I deleted them. Two posts without content and one from you asking why.
I try not to open tiff files on my phone and open them like this: http://www.paintshoppro.com/en/pages/tif-file/ but when I have to, I use Multi TIFF Viewer and it works quite nicely
