Opinions about SPB Shell 3D

A little while back I read reviews and saw some Youtube videos about shell 3D, and looked awesome, so went ahead and purchased. Was however a big disappointment, and from a user point of view, many features which make life easy are missing. So, I am back to my beloved LauncherPro.
Just to mention, a few improvements that could be made for me:
- enable the bar with shortcuts at the bottom to rotate (like LauncherPro)
- get rid of the pages which are fixed. I have no need for a full page twitter overview (I's rather see my own pictures). Same with weather.

Although I am back to LauncherPro, I still have the 3D shell installed, and I notice every day that, although not being used, it is draining my battery. And, I am unable to find a way to uninstall this sucker. Does anyone know?

It looks like a great launcher from a graphical perspective but not worth the money they ask for it. If they lowered the price I might use it. Also heard it needs lots of CPU power thus a big drain on battery...

Swear by it sorry. The most graphically advanced and the packed widgets far superior to anything the other launchers throw at you. I want my phone looking its best . I can't do that with the flat launcher pro or go launcher.

I like it. I would love to see it on the 3D HTC phone they just added experimental support for. I actually carry a couple pairs of the old school blue/red 3D glass in my coat to show off the 3D of SPB Shell 3D. I think if I had a 4.5 or larger phone I would even use the tablet layout for more icons.

My biggest complaint about it is that it does not respect the auto-rotate setting of the phone. If you disable auto-rotate SPB Shell 3D will still switch between landscape and portrait.
