Hi, I was wondering if the F3 or the victory are better than this phone?.
I do like lg better than samsung. lg has the better battery though. Minus the wimax/LTE are they better?.
Also the no moving apps to sd bugs me (yes, I know root & partition too much work for me I think). Was thinking of getting an f3 for me & one for my dad on metro. however if stick with my evo & I need a replacement , but vm ran out of evo's would the victory be worth it jw...Just ideas in my head sorry. I also do like build quality I don't like super plasticky phones.
Thanks,
Tony

I just ordered a replacement Evo yesterday so I assume they must be in stock by now, but in my opinion, the screen of the Evo is much better than the F3 and Victory, so I wouldn't want either as a replacement. If I had to choose though, I'd go for the F3.

I have the Victory and my wife has F3.

Performance wise they are pretty similar when stock but I have my Victory over clocked and it's much snappier.

Data speeds are neck and neck but the F3 drops to 3g quicker when 4g signal is weak, whereas the Victory keeps 4g longer.

I've honestly never paid much attention to the storage space of the f3 but my wife has quite a few apps with no issues. I do have Link2Sd running on my Victory with a 2gb SdExt partition. I think they are both pretty comparable as far as internal storage and internal sdcard

Size wise the f3 is thinner and a bit lighter than the Victory. The f3 feels better in hand than the Victory

As far as screen the f3 wins hands down. They are the same size but the f3's screen is so much brighter and images are very crisp and detailed. Although smaller I think the F3's screen is much better quality than the Evo.

From a development standpoint the Victory has root, custom recovery, and 2 roms in the works. 1 is stock based and stable, the other is cm10 and most stuff works but a little ways to go.

The f3 has root that's it. The bootloader is pretty locked down so until that bridge is crossed, development won't progress to much.

For me I prefer the Victory over the F3 mainly due to development and the 4g reliability. I do wish it had a screen as good as the F3's though.
