oprimus m flashed to work on other carriers?

Would I be able to get service from another carrier other than Metropcs because in north Georgia I get really spotty coverage. I've tried to switch with same phone but they said they can't cause there's no SIM card. Would there be a way by using the Qprst software?

most big carriers wont let u use any other phone cause they want you to use their goods...but i did read about someone flashing to boost mobile...i could be wrong...if i am plz post some material..
