Help optimize the TPK size

[Android Question]

Hi every : i want make a mobile map and have a sateillitic image convert to APK data but it too big so how can i optimize the TPK data have anyone have idea to make the tile image data small size

I've never developed for Android but I'd have thought that you'd be better to not include the map in the apk itself but download it after the app is installed.
