Help Optimizing application 1 of 1

[stoping optimizing]

I have a SCHS738c , at least that is what my Samsung appear to say on the label under the battery. I has been stuck in Android is upgrading...optimizing application 1 of 1. I see where it says to boot up in a safe mode. How do I do that? It has remained stuck (took battery out), turned off and on and still stuck 3 days later. Any suggestions

Try turning it off (pull battery) then hold in Power, Home and volume up until it vibrates, this should take you to recovery mode. Use the volume buttons to navigate to "clear cache partition" then use Home button to select it (or maybe power button, I can't remember) then navigate to "reboot system now" (or whatever) and select that and see if it boots
