Hey Folks,
I have learned a lot about F6 reading through these forums and had rooted and installed recovery following this guide: http://www.haganfox.net/Main/LGOptimusF6MS500. Few days ago I was repeatedly getting error that android.google.talk has stopped and android.system.ui has stopped(can't recall exact app names) . And finally it completely stopped booting up.
I tried reviving it by restoring it using the same above guide and following guide lines here: http://androidcreations.weebly.com/unbrick-unroot-factory-restore-ms500.html. That didn't work so I tried restoring it using LG Mobile Support tool and following this steps: http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000027-1387479960570-software-updates. That also didn't help. I tried restoring from TWRP backup and also tried loading custom ROM using TWRP by following this steps: http://androidcreations.weebly.com/xperion-rom-f6-ms500.html. Nothing seems to help. Phone is still stuck on LG logo on start up.
Here is what I see when I get into TWRP recovery using Volume down + Power and looking at the TWRP console:
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to recreate /data/media folder .
Updating Partition details...
E:Unable to mount '/cache'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/system'
E:Unable to mount internal storage.
E:Unable to mount /data/media during GUI startup.
E:Unable to mount '/cache'
Running boot script...
Finished running boot script.
E:Unable to mount '/cache'
E:Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps when trying
E:Failed to mount external storage. using internal sto......
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
I have tried wipe and factory reset using TWRP but most of these fail with unable to mount errors. From reading online forums it looks like internal storage partitions are all messed up. Is there a way to recover from these issues? Is ADB the answer? If so, can someone point me to right direction please. I love this phone and would like to continue to use it if possible.
Thanks a lot in advance.
