Help Optimus M users having 3G PRL 3020-3025

So I believe the problem is that some Optimus M devices have Rev.A qualcomm chips and some just have Rev.0

Not exactly sure why but that would be a very possible explanation as to why PRLs 3020-3025 have only granted a 3G signal to some users (other than geographical location)
would anyone else know of this?

And how would someone go about checking which chip they have in their phone? I just started seeing flashes of 3g in the suburbs of detroit (posted in that section a few minutes ago) and curious about finding which rev I have. I've seen some rev numbers in setCPU but just want to be sure I'm looking in the right place. Thanks.

Get the LTE On/Off app from the market. Put your setting to evdo only. then look in your phone setting/ about phone/ status, then scroll down to Mobile Network Type. It will say your rev. type there.

Take it up with google.

I'm on rev.0 on 3G it switches between that and 1x every so often but still stay at around 15 - 26 KB/s. Currently on 3025.

I currently have 3023, i updated using lgpnst. my pc is no longer available to me, can i update to 3025 without pc. Im rooted running cm7 playfulgods current build if it matters any. thanks in advance.

No, unfortunately... Find a family member or friend that can let you borrow the PC for about 10 - 15 mins including download time for qpst, if the internet is good.

Thanks for the time to reply. Also, am i correct in thinking metro pcs store will not update to 3025 for me. Prolly not, but cant hurt to ask.
